I just saw this movie and had the exact same questions. What a screwed up ending!! Also Joyce's acting was horrific! The good thing I can say about her in this movie was she was 46!! Very hot for her age.

I agree, twny. thanks for clearing things up. my explanation (though quite far-fetched) was that tuesday and joyce got together and decided to adopt. BUT, i do like the two as lovers. and while i don't condone it, everyone was just a casualty to joce, even izzie. the ends justified the means for her. but i am glad izzie got a reality check. the woman who played marta/tuesday/juliet was really sexy.
