The ones who rated this film poorly specifically

You are entitled to your opinon, but the reasons why you people diss this film and rank it lowly are totally silly and irrational

A lot of people here are calling this film crap just because it is low budget and has poor quality, ever heard of an independent film? does the budget of a film have anything to do with story?

this movie shouldn't even be listed because it is poor quality and low budget? a 12 year old can make a better movie? how about cutting the movie makers some slack, maybe they're amateur/newcomers, no movie makers are automatically professional, most of them start out with low budget and poor quality films like this one for example, there are exceptions, but it's true for the majority

not to mention, professional critics and magazines rated it, and they sent in good reviews for the most part, but here you people are being all snobbish and narrow minded towards a movie just because it is low quality and amateurish

and yes the story is a bit unconventional, but that doesn't mean the movie automatically sucks, give it a chance, the story is actually somewhat deep, what, do you think it's an insult towards Anne Frank? well, it's not

movie fans like most of the people at this board disgust me

I like to read posts, even when I may not have a strong opinion regarding the subject discussed, because I usually learn something. But every now and again I come to a post like yours, so passionate yet so angry. I think I know what you were trying to say, but I am not sure because you allowed your anger to get in the way of your knowledge.

After "allowing" people the right to their own opinions (how magnanimous of you), you just disgraced yourself by regressing to the usage and logic of a fourth-grader. If you or anyone is going to rebut an opinion, you should have a well-thought out reason why you disagree. Of course, in the end, we are all here to share opinions about films we are obviously passionate about, but that does not mean we have to use hate as a vehicle. We can be respectful of each other.
