Whats up with an open hearts dvd/video release? Is there an american release slated or not- does anybody know what the deal is with this is? I haven't looked into it yet, but what about a european region release?

dvd was available in stores here (vienna, austria) last year. hope you'll find it soon too.

No American DVD yet... though you can buy the British one here:

I bought this DVD on Amazon.co.uk but they sent me a Full Screen version of it!!??? Do you guys know if they have widescreen release available? I just sent them a email, let's see....

Full screen is correct, since dogme films are supposed to be in 4:3 aspect ratio (Academy format).

This recently became available as a Netflix exclusive. I just saw it and it was brilliant. Well worth the wait.

I just bought 4 dvd's (for 7.35 dlls.) in Tijuana Mexico (one of the dvd's was the movie l.i.e. can you believe that?..) and one of them was open hearts..good movie great pice
