Cool Flick

I saw Dallas 362 the other night and found it to be very entertaining. Scott Caan's direction is surprisingly even and understated. I would have expected a much more heavy handed approach from a young actor. Over all he shows a lot of promise as a director. Another person showing a lot of promise is actor Val Lauren. His portrayal of a two bit loser named Christian (but he's Jewish...get it) was by far the stand out performance in the movie along with Jeff Goldblum playing a normal likeable guy. I'd like to see Val Lauren in a quirky comedy where we get to see more of what he can do and Goldblum in those type of roles more often. The rest of the cast (Shawn Hatosy, Kelly Lynch, and Selma Blair) are all great too. Also, don't miss Freddy Rodriguez in a very funny scene at the end of the movie.
If you get a chance to see this movie go for it. I think that you will definitely enjoy it.
