sharehell yeah man. conan the adventurer was my favorite saturday morning cartoon. i can still remember the opening theme song, i havent seen the show in ages tho. its about Crom-damn time it comes out on dvd.
..been dazed and confused for so long..
When I was in highschool my senior year I would get out early with a few friends, about the time school ended for my younger friends everyone would run over to my house (lived clostest to the school) just so we wouldn't miss Conan.
They MUST release this on DVD.
i used to watch this show a lot.. but all i can remember is parts of the intro song and some chick throwing starmetal stars and screaming 'SHURIKEN RETURN' :(

shareHey i think this was the show i watched, it was a guy that looked almost like heman and he battled reptiles,etc. and there was a talking snake that was the main bad guys second in command or etc, he had a reptile friend too and etc ummm and he had to find the abd guy who had the pendant or amulet or something to break a curse, is this the one?

shareha big fan (10 years ago...). list of things i remember: he had a talking phoenix bird who LOVED pomegranates. there was a girl fighter with him who threw starblades or something like that. there was a viking type guy who was bald and big and had an axe i think. there was the bird guy i think. the material for all the weapons was made out of a special stone that was necessary material to send the serpent bad guys back to where they came from. i remember the theme song like yesterday too. "conan, warrior without fear...he's more powerful than any man...."

I managed to find a DVD set of the show on ebay (I suggest you fans check it out) and have been watching it again. It has been 14 years and the show still is great. The plot is great for a Saturday morning cartoon, and it can be quite dark and brutal at times. Even though Wrath Amon fails all the time, he doesn't look like a fool and definately is a great villain who is truly evil. Unlike a review on this site, the show was far from "childish" alot of the time, and is more in line with the new TMNT.

I remember wrath-amon had turned his family to stone and he was always trying to get them released. Wrath-Amon would look human until conans sword showed him for who he was some kind of reptile thing. He had a ring of some sort which he used to turn his family into stone...story always seemed so tragic and sad.
I remember conan's shield which the eagle would fly out and help him when he was in need. Also a black friend of his who could control birds and help heal, his other sorta viking looking friend with an axe who was hard as nails.
Iono havent seen it in year but I think I have quite a good memory.
