Ok, I rented this movie from an online site, but it skipped constantly for the last half. I know Grace was killed, Lauren escaped, and that Gina was killed too, but saw the killers face. But since it skipped constanly and it lost sound, I need help! How did Lauren escape, and what happened to her? And who was the killer - wa it someone we had heard about?

I've just finished watching it and this is how it ended.
Gina set up the smoke detector and threw it out the back door with instructions for her and Lauren to run. Lauren ran out the front door and found a neighbour and asked him to phone 911, in the meantime Gina was in the closet and the killer came in and found her. Consequently she was killed in a struggle with the killer who was "just a kid" but not someone she knew.
Next thing Lauren is sitting on the doorstep of the neighbour's house while the couple inside were arguing about phoning 911, then when the police sirens wailed, Lauren up and ran towards the house. Then everything went black!!
The killer had put his mask back on and left, so is still on the run. There was a news broadcast with a couple watching it, telling about the 3 people killed that afternoon. She whispered to her partner about him locking the back door and that is where it ended.
