There were roaches running across the table while she searched for the kitchen knife missing from the block. This was the table the cop had just eaten a meal. EWWW!!

shareI hardly think it was by accident that local "African roaches" ran across the table during a scene. That being said, it's likely they were "American roaches" or at least "American style roaches" used.
