Wound?

How did she get the wound on her arm?

reply

I've been wondering the same thing. And how Ciro Ruiz got those pharmacy grade drugs if Dr. Colleti didn't give them to him. The movie didn't seem to tie off some loose ends and I think that, even though Ed more or less admitted he did it, I think she manipulated him into it.

reply

Hi- 10 years later :), it was implied that Ed got the drugs from his new therapist, Karen. Colleti figures this out while she's in jail, and she uses the information about the drugs to get Karen's full information. She then tracks her down when she's let out on bail and warns Karen to stop treating Ed.

(SPOILER!! Stop now if you don't want too much info!)

I think the wound on her arm, and the pharmaceutical grade drugs given to Ruiz were little dropped clues that she was the one who masterminded the whole thing. What she had to do there at the end when she recorded Ed screaming that it was HIS idea....she played into his ego and led him down the right path psychologically so that he'd WANT to say it was his idea. That option was better in his mind than the alternative, which would be that he'd let Lila manipulate him and control him, and Ed wouldn't want to admit to that.

It sort of reminded me in a way of how Lieutenant Kaffee (Tom Cruise) had to back-door Colonel Jessup (Jack Nicholson) to get him to WANT to say he ordered the code red in A Few Good Men.

What happened at the end? Which guy was in the ambulance?

The cop

reply

Wait, so she really did mastermind the whole thing? I saw this movie a few days ago and I was pretty sure it was all the crazy patient's idea. Were there clues that were supposed to lead us to believe it was her idea? Maybe I got it all wrong.

Tomorrow's just your future yesterday!

She was stoned and drunk and she didn't remember anything. Ed could have taken something sharp and cut a part of the shirt and of her arm at the same time easily. And for the drugs given to Ciro, if Ed has acessed to the files how couldn't he be able to stole medicine?

reply

I agree with what was said before.....she didnt even know exactly where the flowers came from either....so I think it was all him after all

The movie was on lifetime tonight 4/4/06 - and it looked like Ed was in the ambulance - and what about the picture ... Did that mean something?

**** SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER ****

about the picture: so i guess Dr. Colletti and Ed are sister and brother?
Strange movie. If so, i wonder that Dr. Colletti didn't knew it. Or why Ed never said a word about it...

Whaaat? NO they weren't brother & sister! Good grief.

Ed's sister was the blond chick who he was living with, who he killed once she caught on that he was really the murderer.

I can't understand your crazy moon language.

Ed wasn't in the ambulance, the cop was. They close up on his face, and it's the cop. I think the photo just showed Ed's family (sans dad). It was in his pocket. Just ya know, hey he really was still held captive by his past.

when she jumped from over the fence and they found a piece of clothing on it from investigation........i think
