About the Will

When Macy was down in the basement and Lila came down he says,
"You had it all along."
Which I thought was stupid because even if her husband had another Will
made up, that voids the old will, but the piece of paper that the old Will
is on doesn't vanish!
So it doesn't matter what the old Will said, she didn't know if there was
a new one or what it said.

I think she did have a hand in the murders, she played that nut and it almost backfired on her. I think she actually made him think it was his idea but in reality, she planted the thoughts. I think she had to act quickly in hopes a new will wouldn't be written. However, I think that was secondary to getting custody of the kids.

I concur, and you put it very well. Especially the ending where she's reflecting alone, it made me think that she was kind of like, "phew...I almost got caught, but it all worked out in the end." I think the audience is supposed to realize that while she may not be 100% responsible, she did sort of egg Ed on by revealing her personal information to him.

It's weird how her daughters joyously trot off to let balloons go to "say hi to daddy" (in heaven). You would think that even kids that age would be a bit more somber about such a thing.

Guys, but what about that flashback where we see Lila as a kid (the one in a white polka dress) and she's running from someone, and then suddenly she runs into Ed, who hugs her, she turns around in his arms and smiles?
That surely implies she had some sort of a connection to Ed from the past, what's up with that? This is all so confusing.
