This looks kick ass!

I'm looking forward to this flick. Does anybody know of a site that has the script? I've really like to read it.

And to all the "aspiring" movie critics out there, if you don't like the way a movie looks, that's cool. It's your thang. Somebody else may and if you can't/don't want to understand that, I feel really, really sorry for you. Grow up. Put out a movie of your own, talk is cheap.

I've seen this movie, and trust me when I say that you'll be disappointed with it. It's quite blatantly obvious what is going on. The script and direction tells too much, and within the first 15 minutes I'll bet you'll know who the killer is, and what the relation is. It's just another poor murder/serial killer mystery. Just as good as, say, "The Watcher", or other low grade movies like that.

Thanks. But I'll be the judge of that.

Flamingobill did you actually see the movie or are you just assuming. I cannot believe the amount of people that have that special ability to know how good a movie is by just a poster or a trailer.
If you haven't seen the movie, DONT JUDGE IT!
That’s all

Right on, Sonofhowardroark. While i will admit that the trailers they've released for this film haven't look all too great, there's not much in a trailer. I will watch this picture & damn-near any picture because a film is what's in the content, not the marketing of a summarization of simple premise. And I also agree with you in all of the 15 year-old kids that can criticize filming "techniques" & "styles", yet have never had to pull an unexpected focus on an the lense of a cheap 8mm camera because your actor has missed their mark by a foot & you can't afford enough film to call cut & re-shoot. Filmmaking is far more than audible transmission of information.

I really want to see this film, but the plot outline sounds a lot like the Mid 90's flick "Striking Distance" only with the roles reversed. Does anyone else see this comparison??? Either way I will still see it.

My hypocrisy only goes so far.

Anderspc, you're not the only one who caught on to the "Striking Distance" comparison. Just check out my other thread on this board. It kinda annoys me that someone would just reverse an old idea of a good movie, and not come up with something of their own. But, a lot of good movies are just rehashes of other old movies. It's a cycle, and some times it's a big hit money maker.
