Very
...Harry Potter~ish
shareThe Worst Witch books were wrote in the seventies and eighties so it's more the case of Harry Potter being Worst Witchish. :P
shareer no... Weirdsister is also a term used for Hamlet if i am not mistaken of the three sisters that to ld profocies. The only reason its Harry-Potterish is because Christian Coulson played Ben (and also Tom Riddle) You do not see wands you see potions being made and chants and all the other NORMAL Wicca stuff.. you guys are complete idiots.

actually in Wicca you can use a wand. It mostly channels the energy. I think you people need to do some research before saying things. But I do agree with you Amyl, Harry Potter does appear to have been influenced by many other fantasy books.
shareWhen I was talking about wands I wasn't talking about Wicca and Witchcraft. I was talking about The Worst Witch and Harry Potter, in one the characters use wands, in the other they don't. I know that wands are used in both Wicca and Witchcraft by some people, I have done some reading on the subject of Wicca. What I was doing was pointing out that there are some differences between the two book series and there are some similarities.
