DVD sales brought Family Guy back from the dead, so why can't this happen with Tripping the Rift as well? Sci-Fi was a poor choice to begine with. The show has been funny and I think it would be great if it were allowed to continue on a channel more suited to its adult humor. Comedy Cnetral seems like a natural choice.

How about transferring Tripping the Rift to Showtime or HBO and really sexing it up ??
I would guess that for every DVD Tripping the Rift has sold, Family Guy sold at least 20 after it was canceled.

To be honest, I didn't even know this was a TV show. I got the movie as a gift and seriously yesterday found out that it was a show. Plus, it being on Sci-Fi means that not nearly as many people saw it versus Family Guy, which was on a free channel.
Seems like "Rift" would be a perfect choice for "Adult Swim" on Cartoon Network. Their development is so hit-or-miss that you'd think they would like to pick something up that already had an audience. I do like the idea of putting it on Showtime or HBO and finally letting Six loose.
