She Spies may not be cancelled!

I contacted my local station that shows She Spies about when it will return (because the Olympics are on 24/7), and the programming department responded saying.:

"She Spies will return at 1 AM after the Olympics. However, when the new
season begins, She Spies will move to 4 AM starting September 11th."

Than i replied saying it was cancelled and i wondered how long the station would be showing it. i got this reply:

"Hi Nick,
Actually, the producers have decided to renew She Spies for another season
and we will air the show at 4 AM starting September 4th.
Thanks,"

I wont post the email address of the person out of respect.

Jeez they're moving it from 1am to 4am? It'll definitely be cancelled now.

oh this is just in the Baltimore market. Other stations air it @ better times.

Actually it is indeed cancelled. Go to www.thefutoncritic.com and go to the section labelled "Cancelled Series". It's in there. :(

reply

oh well.. we should all go to www.tvshowsondvd.com and vote for She Spies to be released on DVD! i voted. all you have to do is go to the website above, and register (its free), and search for She Spies, and than it'll ask you what kind of dvd you would buy of She Spies (Seasons, Best Of, or Episodes) and hit 'Update'. They'll send the info to the studio, and see how many fans want to see the dvd's out.. SPREAD THE WORD!

reply

On tvtome.com it's listed as returning.

This isn't the best show on earth, and is far from it actually, but I don't mind watching this on Suday night [well, Monday morning] since nothing's really on.

reply

The show is still on, but there are no new episodes being produced. They will show reruns of the two seasons this year.

The good news is that we get to see the vastly superior shows from season 1 again.

reply

ewwww season one? I mean....it was okay but jack kinda drove me nuts...I dunno why but...he was just kinda annoying....but then that's just my opinion and other than that i want the damn show to come back asap with new ones. but i have the worst feeling that will never happen.

Yes, I agree wholeheartedly. Natasha Henstridge is one of the most beautiful actreses in the world today. Kristen Millwer is cute, adorable. BUT let's not forget Natashia Williams, one of the most beautiful Afro-Americans I have ever seen ! She added a special dimension to the trio.
It's too bad this series was cancelled. Sometimes I think the writers do not take an authentic interest in a series, they do not write interesting, intriguing episodes and so contribute greatly to the floundering of the series.
What say you ?

I actually like season 2 because I like Cross alot. And I love the chemistry between him and the three ladies, especially Natasha Henstridge's character.

I'll actually miss this show. It may have been cheesy as hell but it was alot of fun! Plus, Kristin Miller is absolutely adorable!

i haven't seen much of this show because its on at 12.30am on saturdays and 11pm on sundays and i forget that its on. But i love the show. I don't know why but i do. jack drove me crazy for a little while too. but it was because of that thing on his face....lol i know its vein but it was just creepy. but i got used to it and if i could just remember it was on....i might not watch it on saturdays but i would on sundays. i really love the show and i do hope it returns for another season and comes to dvd soon.

Jack was funny as hell and Carlos Jacott was a great actor on the show. He was practically the glue that held it together almost. Without him, it lost it's fun.

reply

He was! He was great! I loved him -- it was fun watching the girls making fun of him, for one thing. One of those genuinely likeable "loser" types. Are they dropping him from the show? I went on the She Spies website and he's nowhere on the cast list at all. (Yeah, I didn't start watching until December, so maybe he's gone already and I was seeing reruns?). I saw last Sunday's episode and it seemed to have an awfully bittersweet ending for something that was planning to continue. Anyways, it'll be a shame if they drop the show altogether, or stop coming up with new episodes. It seemed to me it was just getting better and better. I loved the tongue-in-cheek dialogue; the way they didn't want or need to be taken seriously at all, and just had a great deal of fun. I'm surprised no one bothered to review it (or seemed to).

I'm from the DC area and I just saw a commercial saying that She Spies is back with all new episodes. Total liars b/c when I went to watch the show it was a 2003 rerun. I loved this show.

They'd better not cancel it. This show makes my week.

Uh, they cancelled it like 10 years before you posted that comment.
