I absolutely love the series and am just gearing up to watching the whole thing through again. I have a couple of questions
Who does 6 greet after she meets Balta on Caprica?
How does Balta know the guy they leave at the ammo supply place is a Cylon? I thought he was just looking for a scape goat. Did he randomly happen to pick an actual Cylon?
Any ideas?

I think 6 meets Erin Doral the PR officer on board the galactica, coz you remember she was carrying that bomb/tracking device in her mini suitcase. She handed it over to him and he must have stuck it underneath the centre console in the CIC.
I too think he was looking for a random scapegoat and maybe subconsciously he knew that guy was a cylon and set him up. Or it could have been pure coincidence, i mean he did have access all over the ship and was a civilian. I don't think he had perfected his cylon detection device just yet as we see in the later episodes.
It was his Cylon Girlfriend in his head that cued him in on Doral, she gave him sort of a "6th sense" in detecting Cylons and their technology.
It is left to the audience to imagine who she is meeting, assumability another Cylon (later shown to be Dean Stockwell in the Plan). But it couldn't have been to hand over the device as the one on the Gallactica had already been there for a week before the attack. I'd assume the device is common Cylon technology and mass produced, both Doral and Baltar's Cylon girlfriend had one.
