Katie Holmes is in a new film called "Mad Money" which already puts the career over rumour to a rest, ya know, the same way it put the "Suri has a birth defect" and the "Katie will never be free from the wrath of Tom Cruise" allegations.
Katie Holmes is actually quite exciting to watch in this movie, she looks absolutely stunning in every way possible in that nurse uniform and god knows how many times I watch her in action and wish she'd put on some rubber gloves and get my wang excited. (sorry for the juvenile statement, lol)
In my 2005 comment I mentioned that films such as GO!, Disturbing Behaviour and First Daughter were sub-par, and my apologies, this is not the case.
Disturbing Behaviour has easily become one of my favourite Katie Holmes movies, she plays such a great role and it was such a great film for teens the year it was made, and that dark-rock chick character was played so flawlessly by the Holmesgirl.
First Daughter is actually a brilliant film, I recently bought it on DVD and realised that I was being silly, its not just a chick flick at all, a light hearted film no doubt but Forest Whitaker is a very underrated director and what a wonderful story. The heart is definitely there.
Katie Holmes plays such a great role in that film.
Thankyou For Smoking was an excellent film, I'm so glad she was a part of that and as you can see where Tom Cruise tends to star in films that gross a lot of money at the box office she tends to go for the more character driven roles.
Tom is a great actor, no dispute, but even some of the films that grossed a lot of money were sub-par.
So far Collateral(although half decent), War of the Wolds and MI3 have been very mediocre films and Tom is way above that, as shown by The Last Samurai which was such an excellent film.
