I love this movie !!!

I love this movie because it had "characters" in it.

How can you not love the cast ??

It's bad enough, that yeah yeah; people hear my rambling about my Erika Christensen clone but what is a guy to say ? 2nd off you had Chris Evans who was ready to blow up and so was Scar Jo.

Plus the asian fellow, I don't know much about him; but he did have me laughing pretty hard.

Darius Miles, I'm sorry that I tried to keep up with you in the NBA and well, things weren't meant to be. But good choice for a young b-ball player for the movie.

Funny though, this movie will be 10 years old now and yet still has it's charm for me.

Why not higher than the stupid IMDB rating, because IMDB has tons of people with absolutely "0" personality. WHYYYYYY, because I "KNOW" in the future when someone decides to respond, they will be corny and lame to "click and paste" this statement just to question me like they're; a somebody !!!!! LMAOOOOOO

I love this movie too.

Chris Evans is great here as the main lead, an early showcase for his future acting career.
Bryan Greenberg, as his best friend, is equally great and from his performance here should easily have a more busy career.
Scarlett Johansson as one of two female leads is luminous and terrific and from this film you can see what a superb screen presence she would become.
Like Greenberg, Erika Christensen shows the potential she has for a much more successful career.
Offering up entertaining support is the always wonderful Matthew Lillard who, in a brief role, almost steals the entire film.
Leonardo Nam, as the obligatory stoner, is funny and a joy to watch.
Darius Miles is passable as the sportsman who needs to pass just in case his sporting career fails.

This film makes me cry at one point which is rare and quite an accomplishment.

So do share, what part made you cry ?

reply

Well, I almost kind of cried when ScarJo gave that speech about him not being a good boyfriend, but having found a girl who let him be himself or something like that.

It was a surprisingly good movie. I gave it a 7/10.

reply

Mannnnnnnnnnn and all this time I thought you were getting worked up, when Darius Miles mom came to straighten the Asian Stoner LOL

He didn't have a mom and she came to his place acting like a "mom".

That part I really really liked.

I see how that scene could get to people, but for me the other scene reminded me of an ex and thus it struck closer to home.

So do share

When Matty sacrifices himself to save Francesca. Gets arrested of course. Not dies.

reply

Yeah it's alright. I'm currently watching Scarlett movies. Deciding which ones to buy.
