Appalling technical quality

Forget, for a moment, the unbelievable story - how may people who are so in love that they travel thousands of miles to get over their lost love will almost instantly* fall in love with someone who drives them off and starts emptying a bottle of booze first thing in the morning forcing them to drive when they are not comfortable and then nearly killing them by stamping on the accelerator?

The lighting was just hopeless. Every indoor scene had everyone looking orange. And the sound track was technically dire.

Given that even as poor a film as this must have cost many millions to make, surely they could have spent a few thousand more to make it at least technically competent.

* The film would have worked slightly (but not much) better if there had been an indication of some months passing as CF fell in love. Although given what a completely unsympathetic character MD played it's odd that CF would have cared much in the first place.

Your review is absurd perhaps you should stick to the more snobby movies!

Thanks for the carefully thought out critique.

It would be helpful, though, if you could flesh it out just a little.

I stated what I thought was wrong both technically and in terms of story line. Perhaps you would care to explain why you found those criticisms invalid and hence justify your disagreement.
