i havent posted on imdb in quite some time as i am sick of the infantile reviews and discussion that takes place here.

But this movie compelled me to break my self imposed hiatus.

Just about the worst war movie i have ever watched. Every cliche in the book. It just gets worse and worse as it progresses and I firmly believe that it provided the inspiration for Tropic Thunder.

Poorly acted, paperweight story with so many holes, some of the worst editing and continuity i have EVER seen in a movie.

For those that havent yet seen it, AVOID.

if this was texbook clishéd then the 'tone' and 'atmosphere' of this movie would be as dark as *beep* you imbicile!
monica and bruce would probably been kissing and saying i love you so after 20m and not 90% of the protagonist would have been shot savagely,...don't you think?

i enjoy most movies actually. This one onthe other hand was absolute garbage. Excuse me while i puke!

Even though, amazingly this thread is 2 years old, I have to agree with OP. I just watched this movie and it was pretty terrible. The entire premise makes no sense.

Edit: Damn, this reply is pretty much pointless as it's nowhere near the post I was actually replying too.

Also, I haven't even seen this movie but I can already tell it's Hollywood trash. Unfortunate, my *beep* Kareem Said is in this movie and that Negrodamus be triple trill.

Sounds like you are trolling since what you just expressed does not sound like a well-grounded opinion. Just the phrase "worst I have ever seen" puts you firmly into the ranks of trolls.

The worst part about this was that the two leads were dynamic-less. Basically their rapport fell upon Monica Belluci growing angry because Bruce Willis did something deceitful, and Monica Belluci growing angry again because... Bruce Willis was deceitful.

There was no dynamic in behavior for three quarters of the movie. She hugged him once, and then waited for her cue to grow angry again when Bruce Willis did something inevitable.

Although there are some flaws with this movie, overall I enjoyed it. Bruce Will is one of my favorites. I wished that the doctor could have been a little more appreciative towards the soldiers.

May I suggest that you go back to your self imposed haitus. I could think of dozens of movies far far far worse then this one without thinking too hard. If you personally didn't like the film I can accept that. But claiming it was the worst war film you've ever seen is simply a stupid comment. Wanna see a lousy war film? The Thin Red Line but the list of truly awful films on wat is a long one. This film doesn't make the list if for no other reason then it was entertaining.
