Goofs in the film *SPOILERS

I've seen this film yesterday, and although I think it's basic idea is very good and interesting, the way they've made it really let me down. It was way too unbelievable, and contained quite a few goofs. For example:

-when Steffen finds the dead dog, you can see flies around him. How did they get there? did they swim, too? :)

-where did Sharon and Yoshua get their uniforms and arms near the Kotel, and how could they pass through the security check point without their documnets being checked?

-what was that silly part with the helicopters? Do they really think it would be possible to make a single "step" in the air without the konwledge of the Israeli authorities? Come on guys, I know this is not a documental, but couldn't you just try to keep it a little more real?

-where on earth did all that water in the tunnels come from, in a city that is far from the sea and in a country that daily struggles for water?

Maybe it's my fault, maybe I was expecting from this film something I shouldn't have, but I think it was far worse than what it could have been.

They're in the Army reserve as any Israeli, Soldiers dont go around checking each others ID.

Radars cant pick up aircraft flying that low, otherwise the'd mistake any flock of birds for aircraft, besides this is in the Negev desert, uninhabeted.

"-where on earth did all that water in the tunnels come from, in a city that is far from the sea and in a country that daily struggles for water?" groundwater since Israel ist that high above sealevel, The dead sea for instance is actually below it.

lol..

I do really ask for an answer.

The sewers that the guy was swimming was as clear as an Olympic swimming pool.
Though the sewers was more than a thousand years old, you could see no algea, moss or any dirt in it. It was crystal clear!

right?

WHAT HAPPENS TO THE LAND ROVER THE GUY DRIVES? I HAVE SEEN A PICTURE AND WOULS LIKE TO KNOW, DOES IT GET DESTROYED? CAN ANYONE HELP ME?

reply

The thing that bothered me most is that apparently no one is suprised to read modern German in a 2000 year old book... WTF?

reply

Because the guy who wrote the book was german and was sent back in time.

And to the water, it is clear because these are not the actual sewers, but very old ones, and the water is ground water.

They initially assumed that the site had been tampered with, evidenced by the plastic sleeve with the camera manual.

Here's a goof, the imprint of the second page they lift from the cover of the manual should surely have appeared mirrored?
