Does anybody know what happened with this movie that it never got to be shown in the cinema? It was directly released in video. I thought that was strange...

I'm not sure it went directly to video...it is strange. It was released in the UK in cinemas I think, why not here in Canada I don't know. I would like to see it, buy it on DVD or in theatres, but nobody has heard of it here... go figure. It must be illegal to market a movie in certain countries until licensing red tape is dealt with. I also never heard of Judas Kiss (with Emma Thompson and Alan Rickman) here. if anyone knows where a frozen Canuck could pick up either of these movies on DVD, post it on here!

Judas Kiss I've seen on TV once. But this movie I've never heard of.

Have you tried searching on Amazon.com? or ebay? or...what's the other one? half.com or something?

This movie is rentable in the UK. I got it out at blockbusters. It was quite a gripping movie and a few emotions did swell to the surface.

I guess it is worth seeing.

Yes, I just got a screener today... I don't know if that helps you but it might come out in a couple of months or so ...

Nevertheless, I was able to get the DVD from my public library in California.

According to the VideoETA website Judas Kiss is not yet available on DVD.

Where are you from? I ask because I'm from Argentina and here you can find it in Blockbuster or Planet Movie.

yeah, it probably was never allowed pre-release hype and never allowed time in the cinema's because of the U.S government. It's a possibility, they are a strage crafty bunch.
