Family Guy Ripped off Hey Arnold?

Did Family Guy rip off the head design for Stewie? There aren't a lot of foot-ball shaped characters except this one.

well, hey arnold was before fg, but i wouldnt call it rip off, its just tha shape of the head.

Yeah, Stewie's head is more of reference to charlie brown. I'm not sure but they might even point it out a few times in Family Guy.

Well Hey Arnold ripped off a football. I think a football is a pretty common object so that's a pretty stupid accusation

Oval-shaped heads are very standard in cartoon drawing. In fact it's one of the basic designs when people are learning to draw faces. As with most basic geometric shapes.

In simple animation especially, most characters are standard geometric figures.

Education is what's left when you forget what you were taught.
