In remembrance....

Hey guys.

Buh. I miss Hey Arnold! so much! The show was sooooo good. I love my football head!

Who hates that they only show it on Saturdays and Sundays? I do. I wish they'd bring it back... and people say to write in, and normally I'm a big hopeful person, but looking at reality... all of the staff has practically moved on. How much trouble would it be just to bring everyone back to Snee-oosh? Rumors have been floating around that Craig and Nick have been talking, but maybe it's just to say, "Hey, how are ya?"

I'm crying--I feel like there is no hope for our beloved gang of kids in bringing them back.

But, I have an idea--why doesn't Nick just release "The Jungle Movie" into a book? I would buy it as soon as it came out. Gosh, all you need is a writer, and Craig could even do that... what does everyone else think?

Anyway, I'm proposing a toast to the "love of my life," that memorable football-headed kid and the kids... you were great while you were with us. I miss you. Would anyone care to raise their glasses with me?

Eh, sorry this post was really random and skipped around.

Yea,I seriously miss watching that show. It was like one of the best cartoons on Nick. I can't believe that they never revealed how Arnold feels about Helga. And even if everyone wrote to Nick they won't do anything about it.

Yah, Hey Arnold was and still is my favorite cartoon. I've written a few letters to nick, and I've even sent them a few fan arts with my letters too. Nothing is working. Maybe there aren't as many fans as before? The Hey Arnold fandom has died down over the past few years, but that's Nickelodeons fault for showing Hey Arnold for only 2 hours a week.

Did you know that Rugrats was going to be cancelled after it first came out? Fans wrote letters and it changed their minds. Now look where it's at. It's been on for a long time, it has a few movies, and it even has a spin-off series. I don't know how many people it took for them to change their minds about cancelling it, but I think we should contact everyone we know that likes Hey Arnold and tell them to write letters. What do you say? I just hope that one day Hey Arnold will be restarted and it will have the ending it deserves.

I know! I was so hurt when it got cancelled! Nickelodeon takes every good show off and puts crap on in it's place! There aren't anymore good shows on there anymore! I really miss As Told By Ginger, Rocko's Modern Life, Doug, and Ahh!!! Real Monsters.

I am so sad...why did they cancel my favorite show!! Hey Arnold was like, the best cartoon. I started watching the show in like 5th grade and here I am in the 10th grade and I still love it! And they didn't even give the show like a proper farewell! They should of done this Jungle Movie!grrr

I know I love this show so much!

I was watching this show since 1999 just when I was 6 years old! I can watch the same episode as many times as I want. I will never forget this show. This truly is the best of the best!

But...they're not bringing it back, though.

doug, ahh real monsters and hey arnold are all still shown on the nicktoons channel. They are in the uk im not sure about anywhere else

I hate it how:

*Helga never told Arnold her feelings for him.
*Will Arnold ever find his parents? If they're still alive, will they reunite?

They should have atleast ended it properly without a cliffhanger.

As usual, the best shows are thrown away and the cruddy ones are on TV EVERY MINUTE!! Hey Arnold, Rocko's Modern Life, Doug, Real Monsters, Rugrats (I hate "All Grown Up"!), Pepper Anne, Recess, Sonic The Hedgehog and countless others are shunned aside in favour of shows I dont give a toss about.

I will miss you Hey Arnold. I hope you find your parents, marry Helga and reveal your last name someday!!

reply

I MISS HEY ARNOLD SOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH! I CAN'T BELIVE THAT THEY WOULD JUST END IT LIKE NOTHING EVER HAPPEND! THEY'VE GOT A LOT OF NEVRES....CANCELING THE GOOD SHOWS AND THEN PUTTING THE CRAP ON LIKE WE WON'T BE ABLE TO TELL THE DIFFERENCE...<<<<<<<<<<<<THATS A LAUGH! AND THEN GOING AND MAKING THAT CRAP THEY CALL A MOVIE!! ......I JSUT DON'T UNDERSTAND IT!

reply

It's still on. Yea, you can watch it if you have digi cable........on channel 108........at 3 O' clock in the morning , but hey, it's still on.

Do I love you because you're beautiful, or are you beautiful because I love you?

reply

I know, right? I mean, Nick has gone down the tube with crap like The Naked Brothers Band (???), Zoey 101, and others. Honestly, none of those new shows are funny, it's like the Nick studios don't know kids' sense of humor like they did back in the '90s<3333. They should set aside one day a week (preferably Sunday) and just show old Nick shows that entire day instead of that new lame crap.

i couldnt agree with u more

WHAT THE HELL???
You know, i always watched hey arnold on tv when i was a kid, and they were great but it was never shown in order, like in the storyline kinda thing, and then everyone was sayin it's on Nick, so i get that, and what? theres nothing to be heard of about Arnold, that was my fave bleedin' cartoon and to top it all of, they cancel it on normal telly aswell! what crap!
oh and i agree they should show more stuff like pepper anne and recess, i dont know what kind of deranged ppl watch *beep* like 'zoey 101' and 'thats so raven' what a loada crap! bring back the good stuff that was liked!!!!!

reply

Well, Netflix is now showing Hey Arnold! and the movie. I caught up on a lot of my favorites, and I was just hit with crazy nostalgia. Coming back from school and planting myself in front of the t.v. watching old cartoon classics. Sucks for the kids born in the late 2000's. They won't experience growing up with these great shows. From looking at some of the subliminal messages Nick shows used to have, kids in the 1990's were pretty tough. I mean I didn't know Helga's mom was an alcoholic and Mr. Simmons was gay until I looked at these message boards, and I was around 18 or so by then.
