Do you prefer a PC version or a PS2 one?

And why? Does anybody of you have both versions at home? Is the PC version worth buying if you have a PS2 one already?

And finally, are the music tracks in "wav" format like those of GTA III? Is it possible just to find them on VC PC DVD, copy to my personal docs folder and play them with a usual media player? I'm missing that VROCK "sissy" music when I'm at work...

Thanks, VC buffs

I got the PC version when it first came out, then picked up the Xbox version a few years ago for practically nothing just to see the difference. I guess it comes down to the controllers in the end, as the mouse makes the game a lot more immersive imho, but the joypad is better for slouching back on the couch in the loungeroom...

I love chilling out with the controller, but damnit is it hard to aim. The second mission kept kicking my ass, and I quit and went back to the PC version. I just can't use controllers in 1st person games.

In the end, Okonkwo threw the Cat.

Pc for graphics.

...Hey.

They turned off the "Trails" feature in the PC version of GTA:VC for some reason, which makes the game look really plain, and accentuates the dated graphics.

I prefer it with trails (i.e. PS2 version) - very slight motion blur, excessive glow on lights and cars, warmer colours etc. it gives the game a more 'soaked'/'drenched' 80s vibe, and complements the city and the soundtracks perfectly.

This is it, thanks, "Outrune". Should replay it with this feature on on my good old PS2...
