I liked this movie and all, but I was dissapointed with the Big G. I mean during the first half of the movie he just stands there not moving at all while being smacked with missles and masers. He had more movement in Gojira (1954)!! It's a good movie and all but Godzilla needed to loosen up. and the girl with the plant needed to go away, and Yumiko Shaku (i think thats her name) Needs my phone number.

Yeah, that was a bit off-putting; it looked to me like the suit was just propped on a stand, possibly to deliberately give this effect. (Or maybe because of the risk to the stunt actor with so many explosives being set off right up against him)
And yes, the lonely kid needed to go.
And YES, Yumiko Shaku is cute. But too late, mate! She's already got my number, me he he he! (I wish...)

I must say that this is beyond me too; I mean, I got the impression it was meant to reinforce Godzilla's defensive strength, but it all it really does is make the scene static and unexciting. (To me at least)
I've seen Princess Blade, but I haven't seen Sky High yet; thanks for the tip. (Wasn't that directed by Ryuhei Kitamura, who did Godzilla: Final Wars, among other things?)
By the way, where do you get all your Godzilla info, besides the memory banks of your Xilian supercomputers? Or is that a trade secret? 'Cause you always seem to know everything!

Yeah because he stood still for the missiles, but the mazer really riled him up. I don't think the missiles really affected him at all. The only odd thing about that is, later on in the picture (or is the the next one) the seemingly same missiles are used and he really reacts to those in anger. Seems inconsistant to me, unless somehow the power was ratcheted up on those ones. But that's never explained.
