Why is the rating so high?

6.9 isn't really that high, but it's higher than Godzilla vs Biollante, Godzilla vs King Ghidorah, Mothra vs Godzilla, and is equal with Godzilla vs Destoroyah, which are generally considered some of the best Godzilla movies ever made. This movie, while not bad, I found to be pretty average.
