Very overrated film! Could do without..

I've wanted to watch this film for a few years, and tonight it finally happened.
However, what started off as a fairly interesting satirical comedy, ended up in a depressing and unappealing way. I will never understand why Romanians mostly make films about the downsides of their society, instead of capturing some normal aspects of society.
Nevertheless, I overcame this impediment and was decided to enjoy this film. Perhaps not tonight...
The main plot is extremely forced and unconvincing, which makes the watcher doubt every single action of the characters. The main character comes across as a very idiotic person, despite his profession, since he follows a fantasy plan which he knows will not end as he wants. Every rational human being would know that they are being taken advantage of, without reward. In other words, he is the maker of his own misery and of his bad ending. I can understand this film was meant to convey the weaknesses in people, but in this case, that weakness is nothing more than sheer stupidity.
The only convincing characters in this film are the poor parents of the protagonist.
