Was there ever a rule where a person had a round of immunity...

... if they successfully completed a challenge. I could've sworn that if they completed a challenge that they couldn't be voted to do the very next challenge, but then i just saw an episode where that wasn't the case. Was there a rule change from season one to season two, or am i just imagining things here?
