Sandra fat?

In the user comments posted for this movie by "tedg", he says that "Sandra is now fat, so much so that...." blah blah blah.

Am I missing something? I clicked through the photos for this movie and I think she looks the same as always: Fit and healthy, not scarily thin or waif-like. There's a picture of her wearing a pink dress in a store with Hugh Grant and I think it shows her entire body well, and she is NOT FAT. I'm not really into Sandra Bullock but this comment really puzzles and upsets me. Talk about impossible standards of beauty. Somebody back me up here.

That's actually a closet (not a store) and yeah, I don't see an ounce of fat. She looks so much better than those stick skinny girls who you could break in half. But that doesn't mean she's fat. Not at all.

Whoever said that Sandra Bullock is fat has a demented view of beauty. She has a great, healthy, fit body, not anorexic-looking like Courtney Cox or Cameron Diaz. Mind you, I am really skinny, too, and I'm trying to add a few, actually, a lot, of pounds. I definitely wouldn't complain if I had a body like Sandra Bullock's.

No way! In fact Sandra Bullock is my All TIME FAVORITE ACTRESS!!! so i've seen all of her movies, and i'm starting to see that she's sort of getting skinnier and skinnier, I'm not saying she looks unhealthy, just skinnier then she is in Practical Magic, but that could be because in Two Weeks Notice, she has straight hair, which sort of brings out her facial bone structure but she is not fat at all! Not fat at all!

People who say mean things like that about perfectly healthy women and men are the reason so many eating disorders are developing. Even if Ms. Sandra Bullock gained a few pounds (which I doubt she did), who cares? She would still be the same actress, she would still be beautiful, and she would still be funny. Correct me if I'm wrong, but weight doesn't change a person, and in the long run, a few pounds doesn't really matter unless it causes a health issue.

VERY WELL SAID!!!! She's gorgeous, talented, has wonderful physical comedic skills...She reminds me very much of a young and beautiful Lucille Ball. I love how "real" she seems to be, like someone you'd meet anywhere during your day, and strike up a conversation with. A lovely woman in so many ways.

How's this gonna work if you don't do what I say?

EXACTLY, whippetchick. You hit the nail on the head re Sandy's universal appeal. Women like her because they think: "She could be my best bud, and would NEVER steal my boyfriend". Men like her, thinking: "I might meet someone like her tonight - or tomorrow - or next week". Now THAT'S universal appeal!

reply

Wow. All I can say is, please God. Let me be fat like Sandy ;)

I'm not a stalker, I'm just curious...by the way you're out of milk.

reply

Seconded. And if I could be poor like Gates, I'd be all set.

Some people prefer skinny. That said, I do not consider Sandra to be fat. In my opinion she has the perfect amount of fat in all the right places.
