Tarzan Jr?

Okay even though this was just a compilation of a few episodes of the TV version, the premise of the beginning and end got me thinking.

If Tarzan & Jane really had been married an entire year, in 1912-1913 or so, wouldn't, theoretically at least, a baby be on the way for Tarzan and Jane?

Living in the jungle, and birth control being non-existant in the era, I would assume they'd have a baby on the way after a year, but who knows?

A baby for T & J would be awfully cute! Why just remember Baby Tarzan from the original film?

Sometimes it takes a while before a couple are able to have a baby.

Agreeing with chocobear,
and I think it would be kinda hard for Jane to teach Tarzan much about having sex...

Haven't you seen the 1981 version?

The original Tarzan, in the books, knew all about sex. It was implied had had a relationship with a female "Great Ape" (who were more humanoid and less gorilla than in the movies). And later he found a tribe of black humans, and he made night time visits to some young women.

After he married Jane, they did have a son, Jack, aka Korak. The 4th Tarzan novel, "The Son of Tarzan" is all about him.
