I wonder if they've ever tried to sell this movie in the US to the History Channel, or History Channel International, or the Biography Channel. It would fit right in with other things they show on those channels. History Channel International in particular has a feature called "Movies in Time" and it would be perfect for that, imho.

If you haven't done already, you can read the book. "Legionnaire" by Simon Murray.
I assume this film (i've never seen it myself) is based on his book.
Its available everywhere & its a brilliant read. Probably the best personal account of legion life i've ever read.
