What a corrupt legal system we have in this country --Jury Tampering


I can't believe things like Jury Tampering actually happens in our Judicial system.

For all we know, every trial that ever existed, could have been manipulated in some way or another.

Well, he DID have wonderful financing for his particular role in the trial. I could see when facing a hundred-million dollar lawsuit, investing a few hundred grand to manipulate the jury would certainly be considered a shrewd investment and likely a tax write-off for the investors as well!

I'm sure it happens sometimes, but not to the extremes like portrayed in this film.

Agreed, but Grisham being a lawyer, he's probably come across more than one case involving JT that likely inspired him to write the source novel.🐭
