Voice of Cuddles + American Dad

Somebody put on the DVD of Puppets Who Kill at work the other day, and the voice of Cuddles sounded just like the voice of the Steve Smith character in American Dad. I looked it up here on IMDb, but I guess it isn't the same guy. Anybody else notice the similarity?

kinda yes but am. dad has a much much deeper speaking voice

Maybe if you kicked Seth McFarlane really hard in the nuts he would sound a little like Bob Martin... i guess.

scott grimes does his voice. he was the ginger kid in critters 1 and 2
