Fact about Bribri in Costa Rica

I spent a great deal of time in Costa Rica, and most of the country is not like that. Just to fill you guys in, the movie takes place in a very secluded indigenous area of the country in the South part. I believe it's under very strict access because the Bribri people face a lot of discrimination, and there are so few of them. Anyways, it's nice to see this in the movie, to get a sense of their culture, because the rest of Costa Rica is completely different.

Yeah; I spent a week in the very pleasant Manual Antonio Park area, and we saw all the wildlife we wanted while sipping rum punch and having great meals in comfort.

One of the first spectacular animals we saw was the Blue Morpho.

I never got the urge to put it to death, as Pete seemed intent on doing for most of the film. Glad he learned to live and let live as the film went on.

"Spock! Form an away team! You, me, Bones, Scotty and umm... Ensign Smith!"
