I remember a dinosaur named "Boney" that would always get upset and yell, "Now get outta here!" while he was teaching kids or something. He also had a theme song that was like, "I'm Boney, I'm Boney, Leave me aloney". Then there was that 'woman' named Dottie that was the mayor of Weinerville. There's information about this show all over the internet. In fact, Marc Weiner started the show up again in the U.K. in 2001. Good times

I remember marc would play the captain on the boat. and he wore a yellow raincoat and a member of the audience would come up and ended up getting the tidal wave thrown on them. and then they had playland, where two audience members had to do some crazy thing as puppets. they would go in that orange thing which would 'shrink' them into puppets. and whoever lost got slimed. whoever won got the golden weiner. i think. i don't feel like capitalising. i don't remember much but i remember i liked it. i would be like yeah! it's on!

I remember Stick Stickily. Wasn't he like a puppet made out of a Popsicle stick and he used to host stuff on Nickelodeon. I wish I could I remember more but that was so long ago. I miss the old Nickelodeon too.

reply

All I remember is after the opening sequence, whatever the skit was,... "Oh well, welcome to Weinerville AHH!!!!!"

I agree, Nick is not anywhere nearly as good as it used ot be. I miss the shows like Doug, Roundhouse, the older Rugrats episodes, now instead of being about a typical kid, everything revolves around pop culture and the popular. Oh well... thats how society has gone.

reply

they need a chanel of JUST OLD Nick shows. todays shows suck.

I remember seeing that kicking puppet on Live With Regis and Kathie Lee a long time ago. Marc Weiner was the guest and he did a little skit with the puppet.

reply

seems to me i recall the little dinosaur boney doing a bunch of promo spots during the 96 election somethin about a donkey and an elphant being a tasty meal... but if that were true this show would already have been canned for 2 years

Why do they always re-run the good shows in England? It is SOOOOOOOO not fair! They shouldn't leave the USA hangin!

All I remember is the Oh well, Welcome to Wienerville! OOOOOOOOH! Then the band would play that song. I remember he would play the puppets, and I will never forget how they would play Clyde Crashcup (spelling?) and the Alvin Show, and Batfink in between. Great show!

i was really young(3 and 4) when it was on but i remember boney and i remember the main guy saying "put ur hands to left, now to the right, look now ur doin the hula. aloha OY aloha OY"

Anyone one remember Are You Afraid of the Dark?, the original All That, Kenan and Kel, The Secret World of Alex Mack, and Cousin Skeeter? I loved these shows. I wish they would show them again. I was only 6 when Weinerville came out. I also loved Roundhouse, Salute Your Shorts, and Hey Dude.
