Sure looks like a pilot

I just caught this "movie" on Lifetime TV.

This was really 2 one hour episodes of a potential series. The first hour was a condensed remake of the movie and the second hour was a separate story of his relocation to San Francisco and helping that genius kid. I'm sure each week he would have found some new person in trouble and use his special powers to help them.

Anyone who knows TV history will recognize this formula of an innocent man pursued by the authorities yet somehow managing to help everyone he meets along the way. For example; the Fugitive, Starman, Kung Fu, Run for your Life and so many others.

I found this actor, Christopher Shyer, whom I didn't recognize, to be very charming. It's a shame this didn't go to series because I think it would have been successful.
