I'm fed up with people (probably southerners) writing / saying that Chorlton the Dragon has a Manchester accent. He has a YORKSHIRE accent! Jeez!!

Isn't he supposed to come from Chorlton-cum-Hardy, though? Which is Manchester unless I was wildly lost last time I went there!

you are correct, when he was found in wheelie world he had on a label that said " made in chorlton cum hardy" hence his name
