Schuh des Manitu was funny, too, but (T)raumschiff Surprise was really BAD!
True--I thought this would be silly (it was) and that I wouldn't find it funny at all (I laughed a few times)-
-but it was fun as a rip-off and on its own--If I lived in Germany, I'm sure I would get even more of the parody....but it was fairly clear.
Der WiXXer can stand on its own (and is funny on its own.)
Anyway - i you want to learn something about the parodiable moments of the edgar wallace films, you could watch "Otto, Die Serie"
