I loved this show as it will always be a great memory for me. This was my "era" of music way back in 99'. I'm a guy but I'll admit I love pop music. I was obsessivly in love with Britney Spears back then and thought everything that was released in music that year was awesome. I've finally transferred this onto DVD forever, but it wasn't easy. As expected nobody had the show on tape. Luckily I got a copy from one of the performers that night! He was a dancer in the "Praise You" performance. 1999 Forever!

Damn! Look at where we've went in music, since then. Music will never be as good and entertaining as it was, back then. And what a shame that is.........

This year (1999) along with the ones from the early 90's (92-94) were the best.

This was my favorite year for the VMAs. The diversity was excellent, and the videos were too.
