JUDGES CORRUPT IN TRIALS
DO YOU THINK THE JUDGE WHO "DELAYED" THE TRIAL OF GILLIGAN BEATING GUERIN HAD BEEN PAID OFF?
shareI very much doubt it. A lot of people don't realise that when it came to the law people like John Gilligan and Martin Cahill didn't have that much pull. They ran gangs, not criminal empires to the extent of the IRA and even the IRA have never been documented as possibly bribing Judges. Yes they bribed the odd cop but that's about it. There are lots of different reasons why cases are delayed or put back, I've seen it first hand.
I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time Del Boy, it's them that started me drinking!
