Time will tell

The pattern revealed here and on Amazon's reviews is clear: parents hate the movie while kids love the movie. Anyone over 30 hates the movie, anyone under 30 loves it (yes there are a few exceptions - but that is the rule). In the long run the negative reviews are pretty much irrelevant; it's the kids who will ask for this movie again and again and the DVD sales they will generate who will justify this movie. In 10 years there will hardly be a kid in America who doesn't own and love this movie. Mark my words.

I am not in any way. You are the delusional party. MOST KIDS LOVE THIS MOVIE! Do you doubt this? If so YOU are delusional. It is the parents who hate it because if defiles their expectations of Dr. Suess.

Here's Walmart's review for the movie. It sure seems to differ with your delusional view.

Directly from walmart.com:
"Grab a place on the couch, or go find a seat For you're in for a wonderful Dr. Seuss' treat! The Cat in the Hat who goes by that name Is played by Mike Myers of comedy fame! It starts with two kids on a cold, cold wet day Their mom is at work and they've no games to play! Then in walks the fun in the form of a Cat Who pulls out the laughs from the brim of his hat. Things really get wild when the Cat and his crew (who go by the name of Thing One and Thing Two) Take over the house of Conrad and Sally In this fine family film that's right up your alley!"

If you hated it, then why are you bragging? Nobody made you watch it.

I don't exactly mean "bragging," I've just heard enough complaining from everybody else on these boards and I get tired of it quickly.

I'm under 30 and frankly it's the worst movie I've seen.
