Hi Everybody who actually enjoyed this movie.

Hi, i dont think this movie got the respect it deserved, i think because everyone is used to seeing Meg in 'romantic comedies'. But i really enjoyed it, if you let yourself watch a movie and not be so critical you will get something from it, her accent isnt that bad really , i am not an American so i am not an expert on different regions accents, like i know the obvious ' New York Queens Fran Drescher Accent' but cant pick a boston accent from a Californian one which i have seen comparisions made relating to other celebrities. Anyway i think lay off Meg i am impressed she made this movie it was entertaining to see this i have no idea who jackie Kallen was but, Meg tried and i think she succeeded watch her look when she breaks into the ring in the final fight she crosses the ring and gives Tony Shaloub a stare which says more than any words could say. Congratualations to the team who made this movie, its a couple of years old but who cares. Its not the best movie but Meg, deserves more respect than what she got.

Good work Meg. I am not a Meg Ryan fan so you cant attack me for that but she surprised me alot in this give her some props. Dont attack her for tyring something different to whats she usually does.

to shoot Jackie and her family?

I agree with you... the other ppl here are just a bunch of lamers with nothing better to do but whinge and complain.

Its a simple feel good movie about achieving your dreams and should not be compared against million dollar baby (which is about the opposite ie having your dreams taken aweay).

I thought the movie started off GREAT...then it turned into a "success has gone to her head" drama and it instantly turned me off...a shame, because it had potential. I found myself rooting for her NOT to get into the arena (at the end). Plus the final fight was as Hollywood cliché as it gets.

Still, Meg Ryan DID do great! She came off as strong AND sexy (I never found her sexy in my life)! Omar Epps was great too....too bad this movie had such a weak script.

I got a feeling good seeing Meg Ryan acting in this movie. gives a sense of comfort to seeing a balanced, calm, stable and safety Meg, and at the same time imposing, strong, tough and somewhat sexier grip. of course, without losing the essence of famous america's sweetheart.

Meg Ryan conveys me some safety questions of life uncertainties. It´s great to have those feelings geared at this Actress. It avoids me anguishes and grief.

and not to mention that that movie deals with an upbeat theme ...
