Just slightly ahead of its time

If Lucky had come out just a year or two later it would likely still be on the air today.

The producers had, if anything, too good a nose for the coming trend of poker being such a big theme in entertainment, and they jumped the gun a bit on the release timing of Lucky.

I liked this show quite a bit, how it was so different week to week, the wacky cast of friends and associates, and the interesting back drop that is Vegas.
