Let the comparing, contrasting, and criticizing begin.
All right! A grudge match!
Okay, well, let me get straight to the point: when it comes to survival, there is no doubt in my mind that Robot Jones would take the gold.
Here's why:
First, let's consider the stations they air on. Nickelodeon is all great and dandy if you enjoy watching characters fall all over themselves (nothing wrong with that of course), but Cartoon Network takes their plots a little more seriously. Just look at Adult Swim's "Reign: The Conqueror", and "Justice League"! I mean, of course every station has their comedy... ("Loony Tunes") but at least it's got a little more depth than "Spongebob Squarepants" (btw I LOVE THAT SHOW!)
Second, their families. Jenny's got one "mom", a scientist who created her, right? Now that's great but the "mom" doesn't personally know what she's experiencing as a robot so there's no way she could even relate to her when she needed help on something (i.e., troubles fitting in...etc.). Robot Jones, however, has a mom, a dad, and a grandfather. We don't know if they experienced life as students at a school with a bunch of humans (well at least I don't), but it's obvious they have a little more experience in living among mortals as higher intellegent life-forms than "mom" over here (disregarding the fact she's a genious, people).
And last but most important, they're mission. Overall Jenny was created to stop the evildoers, thus getting into inevitable fights. So basically she's putting herself in danger. Robot Jones and his family are only on earth to observe, safely calculating in his data log entries. So far he hasn't had any serious enemies, or at least none threatening to take over the city.
There are some other reasons, but I think that'll do. Even though I took all this time to make my point, I have a feeling I'll be the only one doing this...
