Kaa-Jinn ending questions + SPOILER!!!

I'm catching up on this series on Chiller. I only saw a few episodes when it was on HBO some years back.

So here's the questions. At the end of Kaa-Jinn why was Jude downing something that looked like raw meat? Was it bit's of the Kaa-Jinn that exploded all over John and Jude at the tattoo parlor or did I miss something? If it was demon bits, why was Jude eating it? (Pausing here for a really big EEEUUUUU!).

When Jude stopped by Strange's place, he was eating raw meat and he told her it was good for the dreams they were getting from the demons. So I guess she decided to try it. I didn't quite understand why they were getting dreams, but that's definitely a disgusting way to get a good night's sleep. Hope that helps!

Simply because they're exposed to demons. I mean, Jude slept with one. So they're more vulnerable to demonic dream influences then normal people.

Because, earlier, John Strange told Jude that eating raw meat warded off demonic dreams.
