Monk movie in the works

I liked one of the Psych movies. I think it might have been the second one.

But they just weren't quite as good as the show. Even though the cast & creators returned, the magic was mostly gone.

Hope it's not the same for Mr Monk

Back in the day when it was in production it was interesting because nobody else was doing anything like it. With time to reflect upon on it the OCD aspect was inconsistent, Monk makes extraordinary jumps in deduction which was improbable, and seemed in general like an anti-Columbo. Just not a remarkable show in hindsight.
