Release?!

Blu ray will most likely not happen; most older shows haven't been converted to higher definitions.

I don't think Monk needs a Blu-Ray release. I figure Blu-Ray is for tv shows and movies that have either special effects that need to be seen in H.D. with multi camera angles and MST3K style commentary by the cast and crew of Monk or lots of bonus features/options/whatever. (They never did do a Bloopers reel. I asked Jason Gray-Stanford (on twitter) if there was one, and if it would ever be released, and he said there might be one, but he thinks it won't be released because all of the swearing. Haha.

Monk doesn't have any of that. If they did come out with a Blu-Ray, I would just figure it was a way to rake in a little more money. (Though, I might buy it if it included all of the novels on audio).

I think it would be cool if they actually finished the episode guide which covered up to season 4. It would be nice if that could be completed.
