Why is this not in syndication?

Its a known fact that Monk was a multi-emmy award winning show and on top of that just great to watch from week to week. It's painful knowing that it barely comes on television since it last aired. Every now and then it'll show on Cloo and would even have long running marathons years back on local t.v. but other than that its pretty rare to see. DVDs aside why is this once extremely popular series not in syndication more? From a business side how does this even make sense?

I blame the internet and a million on demand cable channels.

Hulu posted a few days ago that they were going to have season 1 on. But when we search for it, it's not there. Does anyone know why??

FOX UK has just started running the series from episode one

I realize the initial post was two years ago but it is being syndicated now. WE-TV puts a Monk marathon on every Sunday.

Also airs a lot on one of the Hallmark channels along with Psych.I've been watching a lot of reruns there.

Yeah I was doing that too until it started airing on WeTV. It seems like ever since then the marathons on Hallmark are far and few. Maybe it has something to do with syndication rights....idk.

Monk reruns can be seen Thursdays on Heroes And Icons and they show Monk in a marathon beginning in the morning and ending at 6PM PT. If you have the Heroes And Icons channel be sure to catch Monk on it when you have the chance
