Mamangakis soundtrack - INCREDIBLE

The soundtrack of Heimat 3 must be some of the best music I've ever heard.

Unfortunately, it's very difficult to find any of his music on CD. Can anyone make any recommendations of more readily available composers that are very similar to Mamangakis? I've heard Scelsi, for example, but it's not quite the same.

If I remember correctly, it's basically the same motif that he used in the previous series?

All I can say is: it IS fantastic.
It's one of the best film scores written - EVER!
