I`m a huge fan of Berlin, Berlin, but live in Norway. So Ì`m wondering if the show exists on dvd, and if I can buy them online?
I`m greatful for every answear!!

Yes, all 4 series have been released on DVD. The only place I've found them is amazon.de, but they deliver internationally - I'm from England and I've bought them :) Hope that helps!

Do the DVD's have subtitles in English or German? I'm just starting to learn German, so I know I wouldn't understand them at all without help!

they only german subtitles - its a shame there aren't more german films/shows on dvd, that have english subtitles - there are so many films that english speakers are missing out on!

Yes! I dont speak German but get German movies that have English subtitles. They would have had at least one sell with me if it had subtitles in English!

Thanks! I guess I will have to learn to read German! Now there's the issue of buying them from amazon.de with the weak dollar...boo hoo! :)

oh i watched this show when i was in CH

i loooove it

im so happy ii can get them from the internet.. My german is not so great but it helps that there is german subtitles then

Awesome! I've been driving myself up the wall looking for these DVDs!

My only question is, will they play on American DVD players (or, more likely, my laptop?)

Germany is Region 2, so the DVDs probably won't work on your DVD player. Check videohelp if your player can be turned codefree. If you use your laptop you can switch the region code, but it usually only works a few times, you can't constantly switch the regions. I've heard from a few people that they can watch R2 DVDs on their laptop witout changing the region code if they use VLC player, but for some reason it doesn't work for me.

The Berlin, Berlin DVDs may be codefree, I have a few german DVDs that are marked R2 but are actually codefree. I plan to get the complete series set soon (it's cheaper than the four individual seasons, they cost 20 Euros each, the complete set only 55), I will check the region code then.
