DVD Edition Differences?

Was this a made-for-TV or a direct-to-video film? The reason I ask: From what I can tell, there are now three DVD issues of this film (USA). Release dates are for: 2002, 2003 & 2005 (got this info from half.com). I was trying to find out if there were any differences between the releases and, especially, if any of them are widescreen (hence the beginning question).
